Lead developer by day, serious gamer by night. Simon originally hails from Melbourne Australia before moving to Canada in 2012; bringing with him his talents in problem solving, strategic thinking and coding.

Simon tackles each project by evaluating the bigger picture and how individual requirements can be brought together in a cohesive solution to exceed client expectations.

As the unofficial office DJ, he is generally always playing music, sharing great new playlists, and occasional singing along to his favourite jams.

Last year, with the spirit of the Holiday season in full swing, our team sat down to brainstorm our design for the annual Bits Creative Agency holiday greeting card. As we pondered our options (naturally, a photo shoot of all of our dogs in antlers was a viable suggestion), the discussion turned to how we could make a greater impact through this yearly endeavour.

As Halifax’s most historic hotel, The Lord Nelson has done an incredible job in preserving their elegant and timeless persona since 1928. Ramping up to a huge renovation of the hotel’s interior, it was the perfect time to revamp and redefine their online presence.

Nearly 1.5 million Canadians are at risk of overexposure to the sun due to their working conditions. Our team joined forces with the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) to help develop and design a sun safety website, raising awareness and building interactive toolkits to address this major occupational health hazard.

Phoenix Youth Programs is a non-profit organization and has long been recognized as a centre of excellence for their support of youth through a continuum of care.

The Halifax Seaport Beerfest is the largest gathering of craft beers, imports, and ciders on the East Coast, featuring beer producers from across Canada and around the world. It’s also one of the city’s most popular events and as the Bits team is known to enjoy a glass or two of ale, we were happy to help them expand and engage their audience.
Take It Outside is a local retailer providing premium equipment and expertise to people who lead, and love, an active lifestyle. In order to break away from the competition, Take It Outside wanted to focus less on pure product promotion and more on cultivating a community of “Outsiders”. bits was ready at the starting line.
Elevvate was a local start-up who came to bits with a vision of creating a new type of social network where athletes, coaches, sports professionals, and fans could connect. The founders saw the potential for Elevvate to be an online platform for fundraising and sponsorship, performance video analysis, and to engage the athletic community around the world.
